Easy Tiger

There is power in letting go-- in sitting back and realizing the perfection of the present moment.

Let loose of stagnant tension, the tight muscles do not serve you anymore.

Put down your shield, warrior, you can relax again.

We can live stuck in patterns of the past, entombed in old fears or superstitions-- or we can reclaim our reality, reshaping our perceptions with the observant stalking of our territory.

Look to the big cats, they cannot afford to be clumsy. Powerful predators with remarkable lightness of foot. The ability to go full-on at a moment’s notice. When it counts.

How do we return to this animal layer? The breath, the movement, the mindset.

Humans are the only species that consciously alter our breathing patterns. By training this ability and being more mindful breathers, we can modulate our state. There are breathing methods that will pump you up for maximum effort and there are ways to breathe that slow the body down and allow us to relax again. Both should be practiced. Before verbal language, there was only the breath

.

How does a tiger stay in shape? By doing what a tiger does.

Practicing in the chaos of the fight, locomoting through the jungle with confidence and grace.

The silky spine speaks of adaptable power and the stretching cat shows his dexterity with the kill. Natural movement patterns pushed to the natural extremes.

A big cat cannot sustain the output of a fight all day-- so he must pick his battles wisely. It is said a tiger cannot survive hunting mice, big game for big cats. Mindless chasing can lead to extinction. The refined calculating eye of the predator is necessary. Restrained from frustrations and squabbles that will not serve him. Patience for the larger targets.

Easy tiger, be here now. Let all be for purpose.

Disregard the field mice, reclaim the territory, your next meal will come.
